We’re accepting clothing donations August 26-29th at our store located at 20 Balsam Street Collingwood.

What We Do

Common Thread is a women-led nonprofit thrift store supporting My Friend’s House, a local shelter for women and children. We collect, curate, and upcycle secondhand clothing to raise funds, provide community care, and offer second chances — one outfit at a time.

How to Get Involved

Donate Clothing: Drop off gently used clothing and accessories for women and kids. We accept clean, good-condition items with love.

Volunteer With Us: Help us sort, style, or staff the store — or lend a hand at events.

Shop With Us: At Common Thread you can expect one of a kind fashion finds and quality brand name clothing and accessories. We uphold high quality resale standards and have new items arriving daily so visit us often!
